GO SEE THIS!

If you live in or around Cape Town and have any sort of love for art, books, creative genius or simply dedication and attention to detail, make sure you go take a look at Barbara Wildenboer's exhibition at the Erdmann Contemporary at 63 Shortmarket Street.

I am so glad I endured my laziness, the cold grey rain and the mission to find parking last night to experience this show.

No picture will ever do justice to these works of art, but to give you an idea of what Wildenboer's achieved with old books and (a few?) NT cutters, here are some pictures from her website.

The working mechanics, the amazing detail and the insightful thinking that went into this collection is something you have to experience.
