This weekend I attended my first ever bachelorette's party... It was really well organised (that's why every woman should have a Public Relations officer as a bridesmaid...) and very classy.
We started out at the amazing vintage / antique shop in Hermanus, called ROMantiques, where we could not only shop for beautiful old clothes, bags, shoes and home ware but they also have a small, intimate movie theatre.
We watched Come September - a 1961 romance set in Italy, starring Rock Hudson and Gina Lollobrigida dressed up as Hollywood icons ourselves. The outfits (especially the wedding dress and some of the other dresses worn by the leading lady) took my breath away...
If you are ever in Hermanus, make sure you pop in here, to fall in love with the beauty of old things, and watch a movie - old skool style...
